Who is SALHA?
SALHA is a producer’s organization that serves the interests of its members by creating an environment in which the role players in the hay and forage industry can obtain sustainable benefits. One of SALHA’s objectives is to supply information to the industry. This website is one of the channels used to reach this goal and also to create the opportunity to determine the need for additional information. You are kindly requested to make use of the “contact us” option for suggestions and questions. The south african lucerne hay association has been in existence since 1990 and serves everyone interested in the cultivation, distribution and trading of lucerne hay.

Membership
To stay up-to-date on what's going on, take a look at what we're doing behind the scenes!
Primary members:
Primary members include a natural person, juristic person or entity involved in the commercial production and sale of hay. Within this group there are those who are producing lucerne hay and therefore paying levies and those who have lucerne hay land that are not yet in production.
Associated membership:
Associated members include import suppliers, processors and other service providers to primary members.
